Aluminum Balcony Railing and Fence System Profiles
Complete aluminum railing system profiles for balconies, terraces, and outdoor fencing.
Product Overview
A balcony railing is a safety-critical element — it's what stands between a person and a fall. But it's also a visible architectural element that contributes significantly to the appearance of a building's facade. Getting both the safety and the aesthetics right requires a well-designed profile system and careful installation.
Aluminum has become the dominant material for balcony railings in Southeast Asian residential construction, replacing the steel railings that were standard a generation ago. Steel railings require painting every 3–5 years to prevent rust; in the coastal environments of Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia, the maintenance cycle is even shorter. Aluminum railings, anodized or powder coated, require no maintenance for 20+ years — a significant advantage for building owners and residents alike.
Our aluminum railing system includes post profiles, top and bottom rail profiles, and infill profiles (for glass, aluminum panel, or horizontal bar infill). The post profiles have a base plate with pre-drilled holes for floor mounting, and the rail profiles have pre-cut mitering guides for corner joints. The system is designed to be assembled by a skilled fabricator without specialized tools, using standard aluminum cutting and drilling equipment.
The structural design of our railing profiles meets the requirements of EN 13374 (European standard for temporary edge protection) and the equivalent Vietnamese and Indonesian standards. The post profiles are designed to withstand a horizontal point load of 1.0 kN at the top rail height — the standard requirement for residential balcony railings. For commercial applications (shopping malls, office buildings), we can supply structural post profiles rated to 1.5 kN.
For glass infill railings — the frameless glass balustrade that has become popular in high-end residential and hospitality applications — we supply the aluminum base channel that holds the glass panels at the base. The channel is designed for 12mm or 15mm tempered glass, with a continuous EPDM gasket that cushions the glass and provides a weathertight seal.

System Interfaces, Fabrication and Delivery Controls
Architectural profiles must be bought as an interacting system. Frame, sash, glazing bead, gaskets, hardware, drainage and finish need to be checked together rather than ordered as isolated section shapes.
