Aluminum Shopfront and Storefront Profile System
Commercial aluminum shopfront profiles for retail stores, banks, and commercial entrances.
Product Overview
The shopfront is the face of a retail business. It's the first thing a potential customer sees, and it communicates the brand's positioning before a single word is read. A well-designed aluminum shopfront — clean lines, quality finish, proper proportions — signals professionalism and quality. A poorly designed or poorly maintained shopfront signals the opposite.
Aluminum has been the dominant material for commercial shopfronts in Southeast Asia for decades, and for good reason. It's strong enough to support large glass panels, light enough to be handled by a small installation crew, corrosion-resistant enough to maintain its appearance in the humid tropical climate, and available in the range of finishes that commercial designers require.
Our shopfront profile system includes the main frame profiles (typically 100mm or 150mm depth for structural rigidity), the door frame profiles (designed for heavy-duty commercial door hardware), the transom profiles (for horizontal divisions in the glazing), and the sill profiles (with drainage channels for water management). The system is designed for both hinged door and sliding door configurations.
For retail applications in shopping malls, we supply shopfront profiles in anodized silver or bronze as standard. For premium retail brands that require a specific color, powder coating in any RAL color is available. For luxury retail — jewelry stores, high-end fashion boutiques — we supply profiles with a brushed anodized finish that provides a premium metallic appearance without the mirror-like reflection of polished aluminum.
The structural design of our shopfront profiles is based on the wind loads and glass panel sizes typical of Southeast Asian retail environments. For standard single-story shopfronts with glass panels up to 2m × 3m, our standard profiles provide adequate structural performance. For larger panels or higher wind loads, we can supply structural versions with thicker walls and higher-strength alloy.

System Interfaces, Fabrication and Delivery Controls
Architectural profiles must be bought as an interacting system. Frame, sash, glazing bead, gaskets, hardware, drainage and finish need to be checked together rather than ordered as isolated section shapes.
