3030 T-Slot Aluminum Extrusion Profile
30×30mm T-slot profile — the step up from 2020 for medium-light frames and equipment guards.
Product Overview
The 3030 profile occupies a useful middle ground between the compact 2020 and the workhorse 4040. It's the profile you reach for when the 2020 feels a little too light but the 4040 seems excessive — a situation that comes up more often than you might expect in machine building.
Equipment guards are a classic 3030 application. A safety guard around a small conveyor or a light-duty robot arm needs to be rigid enough to stay in place and absorb incidental contact, but it doesn't need to carry structural loads. The 3030's 8mm slot width (same as the 4040) means it uses the same M6 fasteners and accessories, simplifying your inventory. The lower weight per meter keeps the guard light enough to remove and reinstall quickly during maintenance.
In Southeast Asian factories, we see the 3030 used extensively for operator interface stands — the frames that hold touchscreens, control panels, and document holders at workstations. These structures need to be stable and adjustable, but they're not carrying heavy loads. The 3030 is perfectly sized for this application, and its clean anodized appearance looks professional on the factory floor.
The 3030 is also popular for small conveyor frames in food processing and pharmaceutical applications, where the structure needs to be cleanable and corrosion-resistant. Anodized 3030 profiles can be cleaned with standard food-grade detergents without affecting the surface, and the T-slot design means there are no hidden crevices where contamination can accumulate.

Compatibility, Assembly and Order Controls
For modular framing, a nominal outer size is not enough to establish compatibility. Confirm the supplied section drawing, slot geometry, core-hole arrangement, connector family and cut/machining references before a mixed-series order is released.
