Aluminum Cable Duct and Wire Management Profiles

Aluminum cable duct and wire management profiles for industrial and commercial electrical installations.

Product Overview

Cable management is one of those aspects of building and machine design that's easy to get wrong and hard to fix. Cables that are routed haphazardly — bundled with cable ties, draped over equipment, or run along the floor — create safety hazards, make maintenance difficult, and look unprofessional. A well-designed cable management system, using aluminum cable ducts and wire management profiles, keeps cables organized, protected, and accessible for maintenance.

Aluminum cable ducts have several advantages over plastic ducts in industrial applications. They're more rigid, providing better mechanical protection for cables. They're non-combustible, which is important in fire safety applications. They're more durable — they won't become brittle in UV light or crack in cold temperatures. And they can be grounded, providing EMI shielding for sensitive signal cables.

Our cable duct profiles are available in widths from 25mm to 200mm and depths from 25mm to 100mm. The standard profile has a removable lid that clips onto the duct body, allowing cables to be added or removed without disconnecting the duct. The lid is available in solid (for protection) or perforated (for ventilation and heat dissipation) versions.

For machine building applications, we supply cable duct profiles that are compatible with our T-slot framing system. The duct profiles have T-slot mounting features on the back face, allowing them to be attached to T-slot profiles using standard T-bolts. This eliminates the need for separate mounting brackets and allows the cable routing to be integrated into the machine frame design.

Compatibility, Assembly and Order Controls

For modular framing, a nominal outer size is not enough to establish compatibility. Confirm the supplied section drawing, slot geometry, core-hole arrangement, connector family and cut/machining references before a mixed-series order is released.
