Product Overview
Not every structural aluminum application needs a T-slot. Sometimes you just need a clean, simple angle or channel — something you can weld, bolt, or rivet into a structure without the complexity of a modular system. L-angles and U-channels are the unsung heroes of aluminum fabrication: simple in geometry, versatile in application, and available in a huge range of sizes.
Our L-angle profiles range from 20×20mm to 150×150mm, in both equal-leg and unequal-leg configurations. The equal-leg versions are the most common — used for corner reinforcement, bracket fabrication, and frame construction. Unequal-leg angles are specified when one face needs to be wider for a larger bolt pattern or a bigger attachment surface.
U-channels and C-channels are used wherever you need to capture an edge, guide a panel, or create a track. In Southeast Asia, we supply large quantities of U-channels to solar panel mounting system fabricators, who use them as the primary structural member of ground-mount racking systems. The channel profile provides excellent bending resistance in the plane of the load while keeping weight low.
One advantage of our L-angle and U-channel profiles over equivalent steel sections is the surface quality. Our 6063 profiles anodize to a bright, uniform silver finish that requires no painting or galvanizing. For outdoor applications — solar racking, signage frames, architectural trim — this means a structure that looks good and stays corrosion-resistant for 20+ years without maintenance.
We also manufacture custom sections from customer drawings. If your application requires a non-standard leg length, a specific wall thickness, or a proprietary cross-section, we can produce it from a new die. Die cost for a simple L-angle or U-channel is typically USD 800–1,500, and the mold is ready in 10–15 days. For high-volume applications, the die cost is recovered quickly.

Compatibility, Assembly and Order Controls
For modular framing, a nominal outer size is not enough to establish compatibility. Confirm the supplied section drawing, slot geometry, core-hole arrangement, connector family and cut/machining references before a mixed-series order is released.
