Aluminum Solar Panel Frame Profiles
Lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum frame profiles for photovoltaic panel manufacturing.
Product Overview
Southeast Asia is in the middle of a solar energy boom. Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia have all set aggressive renewable energy targets, and rooftop and ground-mount solar installations are proliferating across the region. Behind every solar panel is an aluminum frame — and the quality of that frame determines whether the panel survives 25 years of tropical sun, monsoon rain, and coastal salt air.
Solar panel frames have deceptively demanding requirements. They need to be light (to reduce roof loading and shipping cost), strong (to withstand wind uplift loads of 2.5+ kPa in typhoon-prone areas), corrosion-resistant (25-year outdoor service life), and dimensionally precise (to ensure consistent panel-to-panel alignment in large arrays). Aluminum extrusion satisfies all these requirements better than any alternative.
Our solar frame profiles are manufactured from 6063-T5 for standard residential and commercial applications, and 6063-T6 for large-format panels (500W+ modules) and high wind load zones. The glass channel is designed to accommodate modern bifacial panel laminates (6.5–8.5mm thick) with a minimum glass bite of 8mm on all four sides, ensuring adequate retention under wind uplift.
Anodizing specification is AA20 as standard — a 20μm oxide layer that provides 1,500 hours of salt spray resistance. For coastal installations within 1km of the sea, we recommend AA25 (25μm, 2,000+ hours salt spray). The anodizing color is silver as standard; black anodizing is available but increases panel operating temperature by 3–5°C, which reduces annual energy yield by 1–2% in hot climates.
We supply solar frame profiles to panel manufacturers across Southeast Asia, as well as to EPC contractors who fabricate frames in-country from our extruded sections. For panel manufacturers, we offer precision cut-to-length service (±0.5mm) and pre-drilled drainage holes, reducing fabrication time at the panel assembly line. For EPC contractors, we supply long lengths (6m standard) for in-country cutting and fabrication.

Compatibility, Assembly and Order Controls
For modular framing, a nominal outer size is not enough to establish compatibility. Confirm the supplied section drawing, slot geometry, core-hole arrangement, connector family and cut/machining references before a mixed-series order is released.
