JS 70 Thermal-Break Casement Window
A balanced aluminum casement platform for villas, apartments and light-commercial elevations where daylight, sealing and everyday operability must work together.

System Overview
The JS 70 is a practical starting point for projects that need a clean architectural sightline without treating the window as a commodity. The system is configured around the actual opening direction, glass make-up, drainage path and hardware load—not just a catalogue section.
Opening configuration: Inward casement, outward casement, tilt-and-turn or fixed-light combinations
Design envelope: Typical operable sash envelope: 200–800 mm wide × 500–1,700 mm high; final limit depends on glass, hardware and design wind load.
Glazing approach: Single glass, insulating glass or Low-E insulating glass; 5 + 20A + 5 mm is a common project starting configuration.
Profile basis: 6063 architectural aluminum profile; thermal-break configuration and wall design confirmed against the approved section drawing.
Project Perspective
On a residential project, the most expensive window problem often shows up after handover: a sash that needs force to close, water that appears at a corner after an intense storm, or a visible frame that feels heavier than the architect expected. The JS 70 process starts earlier. We ask which way the sash opens, what the sill has to drain, where a screen sits and how the installer will pack the frame into the opening.
For buyers supplying several markets, the same exterior elevation may need a different glass make-up or hardware restriction in each destination. Rather than presenting a fixed performance number that may not apply to every build-up, Jinshi prepares the profile, glazing and hardware package around the project brief. That keeps the quotation aligned with the window that will actually be fabricated and installed.
Technical Configuration
| Base alloy | 6063 architectural aluminum; temper to drawing |
|---|---|
| System depth | 70 mm class; section confirmation required |
| Sash width | 200–800 mm typical working envelope |
| Sash height | 500–1,700 mm typical working envelope |
| Insulating-glass reference | 5 + 20A + 5 mm common starting option |
| Performance | Specified to project test standard, site exposure and approved glass/hardware package |
Values are configuration inputs, not generic test certificates. Final requirements must be tied to the project standard, location, glass, hardware and completed assembly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can JS 70 be used for both inward and outward opening windows?
Yes. The opening mode, hardware package, drainage approach and glazing bead are selected together during technical review; they should not be mixed after profile cutting has started.
Which information is needed before quotation?
Please send the elevation or section drawing, opening direction, glass proposal, finish, target quantity, destination country and any required test standard or project performance requirement.
